USネオギターポップバンドDeath Cab for CutieのBen Gibbardと、DntelことJimmy Tamborelloによるユニット。
互いのアイデアやサウンドを、ポスタル・サービス（郵便）を介して交換したことから、このバンド名が名づけられた。ちなみに紛らわしい為か、US郵政公社よりユニット名の使用停止命令を受けているらしい。
